I have said it once and I will say it again! I absolutely love cake smash sessions! I love them even more when its a returning client that was one of my newborns! I love getting to see how much they have changed during the year.
This session that I am going to share with you is special to my heart! I had the opportunity to capture this families maternity, newborn and their sweet boys first birthday photos!
I was so excited for this session – Coopers newborn session was so perfect I knew mom would pick an amazing cake smash theme.

I was 100% right – Coopers mom wanted to play on the ‘up in the air’ theme from his newborn shoot. She ended up choosing an airplane theme and I had a blast creating his session! the fluff for the clouds in his cake smash set was the same fluff from his newborn session. Its a tiny connection, but that is what I love about these sessions.
Cooper is such a cutie – he was so much fun during his session. Like most little ones he was a little shy to warm up, but after he did the smiles kept coming!
His mom picked a perfectly simple outfit – that complimented the set! And the cake she picked out was another perfect touch. Cooper thoroughly enjoyed his cake, and gobbled down most of it right away!
